Rules for notice Boards

1. These are designated notice boards managed by Schools, departments, offices, units and student bodies for notifications targeting HKUST members.
2. Designated notice boards can only be used by the individual Schools, the respective departments, units, department societies, student bodies, as well as department-associated groups.
3. Notice boards are solely for notices or posters informing HKUST members of official news or authorized events on campus.  The activities should also be relevant to the parties putting up the notices or posters.  These events should be organized by a HKUST School/ department / office / unit or a recognized student body, or be officially endorsed by a relevant unit.

Notices and posters should be marked with the name of the relevant Schools/ departments / offices / units / student bodies, the respective official stamp and an expiry date.

5. Only one poster up to maximum of A2 size is allowed for each event on each board, and excessive or oversized posters may be removed.
6. Users are responsible for removing expired notices or posters they have posted.
7. Propaganda and unlawful materials, unauthorized posts and expired posts are not allowed on any campus notice boards.  Any poster with contents exhibiting profanity, insulting messages, discriminatory notes, messages promoting violence and hatred will not be allowed and will be removed promptly by CMO.
8. The notice boards will be cleaned on Jun 30 and Dec 30 by CMO, and all materials will be cleared.
